I mostly use a vigil. It's a cheap and fast speedtank. As second ship I use a probe, because of the scan bonus. Prefer the vigil, though.

Don't believe those ninjas. You can of course target and shoot everyone who salvages your wrecks. Just do it, teach them a lesson. But don't forget, those ninjas are tanked as hell, you should definitely put in some high-DPS-gear, faction fit or T...
